Change Talk Part 1: Overview of Motivational Interviewing is a strength-based approach to supporting positive changes in people’s lives. It is a valuable skill-set that can be used by staff and volunteers in their work with each other as well as their work with guests. This training will offer staff and volunteers at pantries and food banks an overview of the approach. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from videos and practice through guided activities.
