Description
A referral is the process of connecting someone to information or services that are outside of your scope of work. A 'warm' referral involves being knowledgeable about community resources and helping a neighbor to make a connection rather than just giving them a contact number or website. Food pantries may be able to support neighbors achieve stability through connection to additional community supports, such as rental utility assistance or healthcare. This three-part course covers:
